Hello and welcome to "our" blog. My friend Laurie owns the SoCool Shop in Grand Rivers, KY and I try to help her promote her business. SoCool is one of the most unique shops in Western Kentucky as they carry cool and unusual items including super popular Vera Bradley, cool stuff from Hello Kitty, bright and colorful clothing from Fresh Produce, unique jewelry from Pandora, comfortable clothing from Life is Good, Crocs and much more, funky stuff too.
Throughout the year they have sidewalk sales and also during special events such as the Quilt Show in April, Hunters' Moon Festival in October and of course on the Summer holiday weekends. Some real bargains to be had including discontinued Vera Bradley items that go fast!
The SoCool Shop is located in beautiful downtown Grand Rivers, KY, directly across the street from the famous Patti's 1880's Settlement. Grand Rivers is situated between two of the largest lakes in the Midwest: Kentucky Lake and Barkley Lake.
