Cool Vera Bradley Candles

Found these Vera Bradley candles at the SoCool Shop in Grand Rivers. There was an assortment of fragrances: floral, passion fruit/guava, eucalyptus... One interesting "fragrance" was a neutral candle without odor but with deodorizing capability. Each fragrance has a particular colored tin, a color pattern shared with Vera purses and other items, including: imperial tole, symphony in hue, hope garden....... Seems like every time we go to SoCool, we discover something new in the Vera Bradley line.

Quilt Shows: Grand Rivers & Paducah

Wow, it is quilt show time already, snuck up on us this year. Yes, the 12th annual Grand Rivers Quilt Show takes place this week, opening on April 21, the show runs through April 24. And of course the BIG quilt show is in Paducah, for many of the quilters it is THE event of the year. So, lots going on in the Western Kentucky area this weekend, beautiful Spring weather to enjoy as well.
Heard from the BOSS at SoCool Shop in Grand Rivers that she plans a huge sidewalk sale on Friday and Saturday, extended hours until 8PM on those days too.
