The Festival of Lights is underway at Patti's 1880's Settlement in Grand Rivers, Kentucky, an annual event featuring millions(?) of Christmas lights decorating everything that dares to stand still long enough to be lit. The event is a very popular attraction throughout the holiday season. And of course a trip to Patti's is not complete without a stopping at one of the funkiest boutiques in the MidWest: SoCool Shop. The shop is just across the street from Patti's, in the heart of Grand Rivers. SoCool's big feature is their huge inventory of Vera Bradley items, Pandora Jewelry too! Other really cool stuff like Life is Good, Tilley Hats, Mary Francis purses, Hello Kitty and lots more. The people at SoCool are super courteous, very helpful too, we recommend them highly!
